Frank Harren, Broker Associate
After graduating from UT with high honors and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Frank obtained his law degree from UT Law School. As an attorney and as a real estate developer and broker, he has gained significant experience in real estate brokerage, syndication, marketing, management, construction and development, with significant legal experience in leasing, development and construction lending, and real estate and construction litigation. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Commercial-Investment Division of the Austin Board of Realtors®, as a member of the governmental affairs committee of the Austin Board of Realtors (including as vice-chair of the Political Relations subcommittee), and as chair of the comprehensive plan working group for the Austin chapter of the Congress for the New Urbanism. Frank currently serves on the LCRA Austin Regional Council, the Advisory Board of Austinites for Action, a nonprofit corporation whose goal is to increase voter education and participation and to improve local government in the greater Austin area, as the legislative chair of the Central Texas Chapter of the CCIM Institute, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Texas Commercial Association of Real Estate Professionals and the Central Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, and as a member of the political issues and affordable housing committees of the Real Estate Council of Austin. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Austin Bar Association, including the real estate and construction law sections. Frank has recently been appointed to the Political Involvement Council of the Texas Association of Realtors for 2014. He is a 2011 graduate of the Texas Realtors® Leadership Program. He is currently serving as a broker associate with Coldwell Banker United, Realtors®, dealing in residential and investment properties in the central and west Austin area, and has earned the nationally recognized Certified Negotiation Expert designation from the Real Estate Negotiation Institute. Frank is also a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.
